I love to hate the steamforums...
I love reading the VAC forums and the responses EVEN by the moderators. example,
Post 1 "hello i download a cheat to make movies can I get banned?"
Post 2 (guy with lots of posts/rep) "YES! Quick reformat your computer and never download a cheat again, cheats are full of viruses and will get you BANNED!"
Post 3 (Moderator) "Yes, what 2 said you MUST reformat! VAC has delayed bans so you will know if you are safe after 3months is up"
Post 4 (the right guy) "VAC only bans for known cheats and cheating on a VAC server so you should be fine if you're just using it to make movies. Just don't connect to any servers (vac enabled or not just to be safe), stick to cheating in demos."
Post 5 (return of poster number 2) "Only listen to 4 if you want your account to get banned"
